DAY 1: 25 May

Type a 100-word reflection for today's lesson.

I have learnt two new things today, how to find the distance of a line and the mid-point. Both were quite simple but i was surprised and how finding the average of the two "x"s and two "y"s will enable you to find the midpoint of a line. The distance one is simple, but I will tend to get confused whether it is x1-x2 or x2-x1 for different situations and vise-versa for y. However, i feel that the practises are still not enough, I cannot have a total grasp of the two concepts, meaning I still need time to figure out how to find the distance of a line and its mid-point when faced such a question.

DAY 2: 26 May

Type a 100-word reflection for today's lesson and comment on your work.

I have understood the concept of finding the equation of circles but i dont quite understand the "different form" mentioned int he powerpoint slides. What does the g and f stand for? I think the equation is used to find the radius and the center of a circle from the equation but I don't understand the equation and how it can be used to find the radius and the center of a circle. However, I have understood how the equation of the circle is derived from but just needs more practice to master the skills.
