DAY 1: 25 May

Type a 100-word reflection for today's lesson.
Today's lesson was overall, quite easy to understand. I only had to see the powerpoint to understand the whole concept. As such, the practice questions were done very quickly as they were quite easy. This teaching method was considerably more effective than in school, because in school, there may be people talking and disrupting the class, thus spoiling the conducive learning environment. But at home, everyone can sit down quietly and study without disruption. Thus, what could have took an entire period to teach at school can actually be done in a couple of minutes at home, so I think teachers should use the JiTT teaching method more often.

DAY 2: 26 May

Type a 100-word reflection for today's lesson and comment on your work.
The circle concept was quite easy to understand, but making graphing calculator designs was a lot more difficult. For example, for the olympic rings, the plotting of the positions of the circles was hard enough since it was the first time I was doing something about circles. Then, I had to make sure the rings are round and not oval shaped. Then I had to adjust the equations and window settings to make sure the design turned out as what I wanted. A lot of experimentation was required and it took more than an hour to produce the Olympic rings. As for the other 2 designs, I have not done them as I do not know how to limit the straight lines and not go on forever and how to make the curves turn sideways for the syringe. I would probably need at least 2 hours for those 2 designs each.
